EXCITING CHANGES TO COME!!!

Dick and I have made some big changes for the year to come!! We are downsizing to free us up to do the things we have always wanted to do ..... that is.... free to travel, spend more time together, follow His lead for new adventures, no more retail store after 27 years, more time with kids, but still MORE ART and probably some sewing classes for girls ..... that is a dream right now ..... but the ART won't stop, it will be here on the blog as soon as we finish remodeling our NEW/OLD smaller home about 20 miles away. SO STAY TUNED ... we'll be having a big sale and beautiful house and property SALE in the SUMMER!! MORE FREEDOM ON IT'S WAY!!! WooHoo!!! And THANKS for all your support the last twenty seven years in my shop!!!

I must post something!! Been a long time and I apologize!! That, above, is most of what went on, except I'm missing a picture of my awesome daughter-in-law, CARRIE DAY PECK!!  She and Scott brought the little cousins and we did art, of course!!! Andrew really got into it....they all did!!  Love you, Carrie!!  I am just going to post a ton of photos of this summer in a nut shell...or in a huge basket!! There will be some art, kids, and who knows what else!! WE ARE BEGINNING TO BUILD A NEW ROOM ON THE HOUSE AND ANOTHER BATHROOM, with a little better plumbing situation!!! Plus some back porch room this house was lacking.  I am a gardener and outdoor person so needed to have a place in this new backyard to sit and admire my plants and huge live oak in the back corner without getting eaten alive with mosquitoes at times!!! Working on putting in raised garden this fall...a little anyway!! So here goes the pictures....also of some sketching I did during a class with Mary Ann Moss, called  SKETCH BOOKERY....should have done more art myself!! The last photo is a collaboration done with grand daughter Peyton, age eight, we had a blast smooshing on color and finding shapes and doodling, getting in each other's way...but the end result 12x18 turned out so pretty it got a frame to go home with her!!! I love all the kids in my life!!! LOVE THEM, even the big ones, plus Dick and Mickey the puppy!!!  Did you see him hugging his teddy bear the neighbor gave him?!   I just needed to add that I am grieving the loss of some friends of years back....some from death, some from distance and some from painful problems and health.....they are NOT FORGOTTEN.....and I am continually praying for them, lifting †hem to the Lord for His help and comfort to come to them, for one especially, very soon and that PEACE and HEALING would fill her heart and know that she is loved...and missed. Thanks to the Lord, all things are possible through His streng†h to uphold us til the day we enter His gates of splendor.   I just realized today is 9-11 the anniversary of the losses in NYC and Pa.   God Bless you all....   ENJOY and BLESSINGS TO YOU!!!
