EXCITING CHANGES TO COME!!!

Dick and I have made some big changes for the year to come!! We are downsizing to free us up to do the things we have always wanted to do ..... that is.... free to travel, spend more time together, follow His lead for new adventures, no more retail store after 27 years, more time with kids, but still MORE ART and probably some sewing classes for girls ..... that is a dream right now ..... but the ART won't stop, it will be here on the blog as soon as we finish remodeling our NEW/OLD smaller home about 20 miles away. SO STAY TUNED ... we'll be having a big sale and beautiful house and property SALE in the SUMMER!! MORE FREEDOM ON IT'S WAY!!! WooHoo!!! And THANKS for all your support the last twenty seven years in my shop!!!

HE CAME, HE STOLE, HE STAYED

It was very early on a Sunday morning when I heard a baby's cry outside.  So I hopped up to see where the crying was coming from. And there he was 7-8 weeks old on my front porch unable to come down....deposited by possibly an angel. I was not ready for a dog at all. But his plans were to melt our hearts. HE CAME, HE STOLE OUR HEARTS AND HE WILL STAY.  Now two weeks later he is double his size and weight.  We named him Mickey like Mickey Mouse.  Blessings come in an instant when you least expect it!!  At least that is the way we are choosing to look at it. One thing for sure. My focus has shifted from worry and anxiety to a little dog who needs me.... the other things will take care of themselves!

He is a darling and I agree. May God bless you in every way for taking him in. I would have done the same. He is there for a reason. My first real family pet member appeared on my porch as well. The door was open and I was studying. This was back in 93 or so and I was typing away. I felt something and looked to the door and there she was, just looking at me. I went out and picked her up and looked at the beauty in my arms. I asked around the neighborhood but no one had lost a dog. I even put up signs and no one answered. Finally I gave up and decided to keep her. Her name was Chorizo and she was with us 14 years. We lost her in 2007 and how we have missed her. Her purpose here was for me and learning how to be more loving and kind from her. I learned much from her. I'm happy for you. God Bless You.

I SEE why you fell in love with him. He is a darling. What a blessing. God knows you and He left Mickey on your Front Porch cause you're a front porch kinda girl. You'll spend many summer evenings out there with Mickey and hubby....what a JOY he has already brought to your lives. I bet you'll soon be painting a journal all about him. Can't wait to read and see more of him.
