EXCITING CHANGES TO COME!!!

Dick and I have made some big changes for the year to come!! We are downsizing to free us up to do the things we have always wanted to do ..... that is.... free to travel, spend more time together, follow His lead for new adventures, no more retail store after 27 years, more time with kids, but still MORE ART and probably some sewing classes for girls ..... that is a dream right now ..... but the ART won't stop, it will be here on the blog as soon as we finish remodeling our NEW/OLD smaller home about 20 miles away. SO STAY TUNED ... we'll be having a big sale and beautiful house and property SALE in the SUMMER!! MORE FREEDOM ON IT'S WAY!!! WooHoo!!! And THANKS for all your support the last twenty seven years in my shop!!!

SO BLAH. BURNING THE OIL!!

Now go down a little .... til you reach me.....

These little circle flower designs I saw on Pam garrison's blog, her designs, I borrowed.... I ordered two printed cotton pieces to embroider of her designs....love her work.

Rainy gray days, dreary skies, school has started again ...... Good for some parents but work for others.  I hope everyone was on time!!!  I had a really low week, so decided to make it a journal page.  I also diffused some new essential oils to try and get a new perspective!  See them next to my red chair in my new tulip diffuser!?  Well shoot, they must work because I have giggled my way through finishing this journal page of me in my pajama's slumped, uncombed, in the chair.  I left off about 100 pounds and less grey in the hair but the rest is pretty accurate!  Plus that oil with the eucalyptus, clove and cinnamon began to smell great in the house.  AND I AM STILL GIGGLING AT MY DRAWING!  I think the silly drawing was the trick..... Doodling always settles my heart! AND DOING ANYTHING ART LIFTS ME TO A HAPPIER PLACE!  MY SIMPLE PRAYER WORKS TOO!  Hope your week is full of purpose, love and joy.  Blessings to you! Maybe slap a smile on your face...come on, just try!

You certainly made me giggle! I love how you are slumped just like a rag doll. You are really taking off with these characters. Awesome...this one of you is my favorite so far.

I'm sad that you are sad. I will pray for the house in round top to sell. SERIOUSLY!! I join hearts and hands with you on this. Let FAITH and HOPE arise in 2014!

Blessings to you my dear friend
I sure appreciate YOU!

1 Peter 5:10-11

10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
11 To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.…

Ahhhhh, you are truly the fragrance of our comforting and loving Savior!! Someday we'll meet! And yes, we will pray.....and we will "giggle" at the down days!! These figures have been so much fun...especially her and being able to laugh at one's self!! Love you! Your blog posts have also meant much and lifted me up these days! May you be lifted in glee as well!

WoW, Aunt Sherry! There are a lot of exciting changes coming up for y'all. I am very excited for you and Uncle Dick! Big changes indeed. I pray that God will give you every bit of sustenance and provision that you need to make this transition into the next chapter of grandness that he has for you.

I was also marveling at the creativity and sheer depth of that piece you made, the one that says, "I feel so blah." I could just sense the heaviness of spirit from the look in woman's eyes and in the structure of her body, so slumped on the chair. Really profound, and I'm glad you are continuing to go to the Lord with it, even in the painting. He really does know how to lift us up and caffeinate our souls, doesn't he?

Blessings to you both from an Ello on the East Coast!
