EXCITING CHANGES TO COME!!!
Dick and I have made some big changes for the year to come!! We are downsizing to free us up to do the things we have always wanted to do ..... that is.... free to travel, spend more time together, follow His lead for new adventures, no more retail store after 27 years, more time with kids, but still MORE ART and probably some sewing classes for girls ..... that is a dream right now ..... but the ART won't stop, it will be here on the blog as soon as we finish remodeling our NEW/OLD smaller home about 20 miles away. SO STAY TUNED ... we'll be having a big sale and beautiful house and property SALE in the SUMMER!! MORE FREEDOM ON IT'S WAY!!! WooHoo!!! And THANKS for all your support the last twenty seven years in my shop!!!

Love the new banner! You created something unique and lovely...just like you...
I giggled at your description of the little grey bird -- quite appropriate. I think it was the tufted titmouse, which seems to come around the same time and eat the same food as the cardinals. They must be second cousins or something. I [posted in my blog a drawing in my journal and a photo, but not a good one, because the titmouse seems to move too quickly for me to get a good shot at him. I posted it just for laughs. They really are delightful birds.

New to your blog, never saw your old banner but I like the colorful cheerfulness of your new one. That's cool how close the Titmouse bird came to you, a real blessing indeed! Saw your longer post about wanting to go somewhere you can "come sit and listen to the quiet" ... I would humbly suggest the Hocking Hills of Ohio and can let you know my favorite Bed & Breakfast there if you wish.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the banner! and the card! Wish I was having coffee on that porch with you.
Thank you for the comments on my blog. Good to meet another sister in the Lord. Isn't it fun when God does some little special thing for us like bringing the bird to you to say good morning.Like your color
filled banner, cute idea, buttons on a bird house.I know what you are saying about being free. I managed a Salvation Army thrift store for 13 years and when it came time to give it up, I prayed and God moved us from the Keys to north Florida. He will give you your hearts desire, (if you delight yourself in Him). BE BLESSED
Thanks for visiting my blog and letting me know I had identified the bird correctly. I wasn't sure because my titmice have seemed to be pretty shy.
Yes, you need to journal. I never thought I would get so interested in it, but it's turned out to be a rewarding experience. I had never been able to do watercolors, but I found out that I can do it when I draw first with a pen and then fill in the color (using watercolor pencils). And it makes me really focus on identification details when I have to draw them.

Your new banner is lovely Sherry!
I got to have coffee on my back porch a few times this week too. We had 3 or 4 wonderful warm days. Not today though, it is raining buckets, and there is a chill in the air again!! The birds are quite today too, I had been enjoying all their lovely song. Spring will come!!
Hugs dear friend!!
I have enjoyed browsing your blog....and the bird resting on your foot, what a blessing..God always brings just what we need..I like your new banner also..very colorful...
I hope you will come over for a visit.
Hugs and Blessings
This is lovely! Would you mind giving me the dimensions that you used for your banner? I have such a hard time figuring it out. Thanks, Laurie
