Dick and I have made some big changes for the year to come!! We are downsizing to free us up to do the things we have always wanted to do ..... that is.... free to travel, spend more time together, follow His lead for new adventures, no more retail store after 27 years, more time with kids, but still MORE ART and probably some sewing classes for girls ..... that is a dream right now ..... but the ART won't stop, it will be here on the blog as soon as we finish remodeling our NEW/OLD smaller home about 20 miles away. SO STAY TUNED ... we'll be having a big sale and beautiful house and property SALE in the SUMMER!! MORE FREEDOM ON IT'S WAY!!! WooHoo!!! And THANKS for all your support the last twenty seven years in my shop!!!

Indeed He does!!  TOMORROW at 5:30AM we leave for the big competition to take Pilar, age 10, to go to STATE  in Bible Drill, Scripture search and memorization!!!  We are excited!!! She was speech delayed beginning school at 6 and has a hard time learning at school at times, BUT, BUT she is a champion at memorizing and searching the scriptures with just giving her a few beginning words to certain scriptures!!!  She passed Bible Drill at the Church meet to go on with another town.... many passed and she was one and is going to compete at 8:00AM in the capital....we will let you know how she does....but I know how pleased her parents and especially the Lord is with her no matter what! She has really worked hard and does it to glorify Him!! Plus we have had fun!! Joan B. is our church sponsor and will go with us....so I MUST go to bed to get a few hours of sleep!!!
Pilar and Tito at Vacation Bible School last summer....
The whole gang of kids at VBS!!
Pilar and her siblings....on the day of her Baptism!.....Enjoy! Blessings to you and I will catch you up on our "moving" lives a little later....still packing and painting in the remodel....taking forever but slowly we'll get there!! Hugs!!! sherry
A new note........Pilar placed fifth......and got an official certificate with a seal.....she was excited and we and God were so pleased with her sincere heart to even try to do what she did! She is a winner no matter the place....especially in the Lord's eyes!!!

I got quite excited when I read your post, thinking about finding an older Bible sort of used, wich is good, the art doing sounds like such a good idea and if something was missing as the art covered it you can still refer to a Bible you use all the time, the memory on the pags might make it os you don't have to. Loved your words, and was so happy to see you.
I did leave a garden pic at my blog. thanks for asking.

Indeed! She is a winner - where-ever she goes. So great that you were able to go and support her. You're such a good mother and grandmother.

I just wanted to visit and wish you a happy Mother's Day. Think of you, as always, praying for you too.

May Blessings of favor be bestowed upon you in the upcoming days and weeks. You deserve every-bit that comes your way. Soak in it!

Congratulations to Pilar! Fifth in the state is nothing to sneeze at!!!! And wasn't God smiling on all those children during the drills, as they hid His Word in their hearts!!!!!
Please let us know how you are, how the move/renovations are going, and what you're up to creatively.
Big Hugs,
