EXCITING CHANGES TO COME!!!

Dick and I have made some big changes for the year to come!! We are downsizing to free us up to do the things we have always wanted to do ..... that is.... free to travel, spend more time together, follow His lead for new adventures, no more retail store after 27 years, more time with kids, but still MORE ART and probably some sewing classes for girls ..... that is a dream right now ..... but the ART won't stop, it will be here on the blog as soon as we finish remodeling our NEW/OLD smaller home about 20 miles away. SO STAY TUNED ... we'll be having a big sale and beautiful house and property SALE in the SUMMER!! MORE FREEDOM ON IT'S WAY!!! WooHoo!!! And THANKS for all your support the last twenty seven years in my shop!!!

A LOT TO SEE, A LOT TO DO!!! REMODEL PHOTOS LAST.....

I found this old sock doll I made around forty years ago for my Kellie.

Found hankies from my Mom and this doll I made yrs ago!! Had to do some patching!
They both hit a homerun for their teams this year!!! Big sister taking care of little brother.....ha!! Her team missed being champs by one game lost....it was close!!!

Our new ballerina!!!

A plane ride for the boys!!!

My three girls!!!

Bottle fed this miniature Zebu too, for five months on our porch in the winter.... she was a joy, Samuela, our girl .... she too went to the Kid's Camp!!!

Happy Memorial Day Mr Peck!!! Come see me at the Kid's Camp!!!!

Trying to kiss my baby goodbye!!! I raised that miniature donkey! Used to walk him on a leash ....he too went to Camp Winchester, a Kid's Camp.  They said the baby chickens sleep on his back at night!!!

Saying goodbye to our old tractor!! It is going with a dear friend to Camp Winchester...a kids Christian Camp!

Love these beginnings....would be pretty in embroidery.

Hope I can keep these blooming! Love these agapanthas!!

Now, WHO do you suppose those three faces belong to?!

My added love to the pieces.....

Little relics found in Mom's stuff!

Can't wait to tell you about these!! I learned to embroidery at the age of nine when we lived near the mountains in Leon, Spain....we had no TV, which was awesome and we picked flowers in the fields to make flower crowns and wore them all day. Embroidery has always taken me back to cherished times as a child!!!

I HAVE to be creating SOMETHING!!!

More fun..... the art supplies are packed away, so the needle and thread came out!!!

An exciting project that I will ellaborate more on later..... I am in love with this idea!!! It is an old hankie I will embellish.

Looking from the kitchen into the end of the living room in front where the old oak breakfast table of Mom and Dad's will go.... under the daisy chandelier.

Another old chandelier I have saved. Will go above the long dining table. It has crystals to add if I want....and it needs a longer chain plus the candle thingys....which I would love to decoupage with some kind of script....The color is what it was.....not sure if I will paint it....it has a nice old look now.

The lower part which now is insulated, radiant barriered, sheetrocked and ready for paint...

The ceiling of the inside of the garage we made into a sleeping loft for the grand kids and the room below will be their and MY room for whatever transpires!!!

Here we are with our first snack during work in our new kitchen!!  The old island we have will come there soon.

Our new big kitchen, where it WAS a small galley kitchen. New cabinets ready to paint in "Candlelight" white....still have my favorite sink. Had a yellow one in 1975. I want to be here soon!!

Floors are all sanded and stained and ready for furniture!!

An old light fixture I have been saving for years and now will be in my small dining with my green fire king dishes!!

Trying to find that right happy yellow for our house!

Mother's Day flowers.....

BOY OH BOY....where do I start?  We have truly been busy and still moving forward with our downsize. For those who are interested, I am going to post a BUNCH of pictures in whatever order they come in....(Actually, they loaded backwards!)  I am in a hurry as usual, but can't wait to BLOG with thought and more heart and PROJECTS as we get more settled!! The following are remodeling, grandkids, an embroidery NEW project from a class with karen ruane from the United Kingdom (more details on that later!!!) .....and other photos of happenings this month..... STAY TUNED FOR MORE LATER..... and sorry we are so busy right now.....how very much do I miss all of YOU, my computer, my art supplies and my normal nesting place!!! AND I HAVE lost 18 pounds....soooo easy, I'll share that later too!!! AND I eat more!!! BLESSINGS!!!! HUGS....God is good....Love Him!

Oh so glad to see you and experience your JOY with you. I know the new is mixed with sadness of leaving the old. Saying goodbye to your animals that were so very dear to you must be hard. But at least you know where they are and can visit.

I love the pics of the house. it is so beautiful and inviting. What an anticipation to actually be moved in and settled - 'nested'. I pray those days come quickly for you.

The needle work is exquisite. God has certainly blessed the work of your hands.

I smiled when I saw all your flowers....I love my plants and almost everyone are blooming plants. Oh the joy of tending a small part of God's vast garden. So glad we too have this in common.

What a busy part of life you are involved in. exciting times. I can smell the new paint and the bare wood in your and the kid's place.

Please take care during this busy time. Exciting that you lost 18 lbs. a new you for your new place.

hugs my friend

Thanks Patrina, I used to love to go to Mexico to the little village where so many precious families are living in fear ..... my heart breaks for the life of tranquility they have lost, but they hang on to "Jesus" and their future in Him.
