EXCITING CHANGES TO COME!!!

Dick and I have made some big changes for the year to come!! We are downsizing to free us up to do the things we have always wanted to do ..... that is.... free to travel, spend more time together, follow His lead for new adventures, no more retail store after 27 years, more time with kids, but still MORE ART and probably some sewing classes for girls ..... that is a dream right now ..... but the ART won't stop, it will be here on the blog as soon as we finish remodeling our NEW/OLD smaller home about 20 miles away. SO STAY TUNED ... we'll be having a big sale and beautiful house and property SALE in the SUMMER!! MORE FREEDOM ON IT'S WAY!!! WooHoo!!! And THANKS for all your support the last twenty seven years in my shop!!!

MANIKINS TAKE A REST !!

I will share the last journal pages of the doodling on manikins.  It was fun, but I am a little tired of them. Some new serious art is on the horizon and I'll shared more later.  There is also some pictures of our found puppy and the first visit to the grandkids.  They have really wanted a dog, especially Eli and you can sure see it on his face!! The dog was so comfortable with them and let them hold him however they wanted and he just complied!! He was so relaxed with them and ran and played with them all afternoon! He even got a ride in the dump truck!!  Then two pictures of the usual sleepy heads...whenever Dick sleeps she is right by his side and sleeping too! They are true buds!  Then our beautiful Olivia, who was so good with the dog and said someday she'll get a little tiny dog she can carry around in a bag to her friends! They are so busy with swim meets and competition and home school and piano, dancing, etc that a dog would be home alone!! So they can just visit with Mickey!! He is becoming a real buddy to Dick....following him down every row while push mowing the grass!!

 I've missed my roses and zinnias at the old house and my crazy mockingbird!!

 A friend visited me in the shop....
 In my new garden...

 My favorite bag, no money no makeup, just art supplies!!

 After the exciting ride in the dump truck...and above is the huge Noah's Ark I did a few months back for children's church.

 One happy boy and one happy dog!!

 He's so little...perfect for one hand!!
 My favorite two sleepy heads!!  Priceless!!

Thank you dear friend! I am blessed in my soul to have the priviledge to try the art for a silent auction at church to raise money for a camp where the children from Eutreia? walk to Ethiopia....searching for parents with only the clothes on their backs....many orphans, many taken into slavery....what can a person do? So many go to just help however they can and hug the children....trying to improve horrible camp conditions there...I have an amazing new friend here, she is Malaysian, and a super compassionate and intelligent believer! a gift from the Lord in this new place! ....and the dog has taught me much about myself!

sad about the children. So sad...indeed what is one to do. It is a HUGE deficit to mankind.

I pray that the Lord Jesus encompass the camp and cover them with His feathers. Under His protective wings...they shall not be afraid. Their desolation shall give way to the Love of Christ through His faithful warriors planting His heirloom seeds in the darkness - watered by His Divine grace. They shall know true love. They shall learn to trust the trustworthy...and live in peaceful sure dwelling places. AMEN! Lat it be so, Lord

My Refuge and My Fortress
Psalm 91:3-5

…3For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence. 4
He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. 5
You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day;

Isaiah 42:16
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do to them, and not forsake them.

Isaiah 32: 17-18
…17 And the work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever. 18 Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation, And in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places;

The dog has shown me, ...my colder side, and a slight lack of compassion over comfort? Don't want a smelly house....What is funny is that Dick disciplines the puppy not to bite his hand and the dog continues like it is a game...there is not an ounce of harshness or serious discipline in his voice...just like he was with his (our) kids! On the other hand , when I discipline with my voice he minds better! He tilts his head while I am telling him with my finger pointed to STOP that biting....but he minds. Is there an advantage to being meaner? He is like a toddler and takes time...wasn't my idea, but I am learning some things! Hugs to you!

You have to use a different voice for discipline...otherwise he'll think you're all fun and game and no bite.

You didn't say whether your last post was a still photo or not. Its alive like a video. How'd you do that? Even on the dashboard it twinkles.

I saw your response on the last post. Thanks!

Patrina, It was a still photo and I read that google + has that feature....but I never remember doing that. Possibly my son when he was here. But it is an ap probably on my phone. Still makes me wonder how it got there. Hugs and Blessings to you dear friend...enjoy your special time coming up!!
